Carolina Teacher/Cheer Coach Accused of Sex with Student

(Charlotte, North Carolina) A 43-year-old teacher and cheerleading coach at Myers Park High School, Kristina Ngum, has been accused of engaging in sex with a student.

Ngum has been charged with one count of sexual activity with a student by a teacher.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, 43-year-old Kristina Ngum turned herself in on Saturday to authorities after a warrant was issued for her arrest.

CMPD said in a statement that Ngum had engaged in sexual activity that happened at a location off school property.

Detectives began their investigation after the victim was arrested on an unrelated drug charge on Friday.
