Florida Educator, 48, and Boy, 9

(North Port, Florida) A 48-year-old teacher's aide with the Sarasota School District, Sally D. Clarke, has been accused of child molestation.

Clarke faces 12 counts of child molestation.

The alleged abuse occurred within Clarke's home when the 9-year-old male victim stayed with her.

North Port Police spokesman Capt. Anthony Sirianni said the victim was a relative of Clarke, and that the alleged abuse had nothing to do with her employment for the school district.

According to police reports, the child told investigators Clarke touched his genitals with her hand over his clothing on 14 separate occasions — every night for two weeks that he stayed at her home.
