Florida Woman Gets Prison for Sex with Boy - Update

(New Port Richey, Florida) Yesterday, married mom Alexis Colson, 38, was convicted and sentenced to 22 months in prison for engaging in sex with a boy in her SUV and texting him explicit photos of herself.

Alexis Colson pleaded guilty to unlawful sex with a minor and transmission of material harmful to minors.

The encounter happened in January 2013. According to an arrest report, Colson texted the victim — 16 at the time — with instructions on where to meet. They left his school in her SUV and parked in a field. Sexual activity ensued.

Detectives found the instructions on the teen's tablet, as well as "at least 15 explicit pictures" of Colson. The boy told detectives that Colson sent him the pictures. He also had a pair of black lace underwear he said were hers.

Colson also faces 24 months sex offender probation upon release from prison.

(Pasco County, Florida) A 37-year-old Land O' Lakes woman, Alexis Anne Colson, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 16-year-old boy and sending him nude pictures of herself.

Colson faces charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and electronic transmission of harmful material to a minor.

Colson's relationship with the boy was discovered after someone who loaned the victim a cell phone found suspicious text messages, an arrest report said.

A sheriff's detective who investigated discovered at least 15 nude photos of Colson in sexually explicit poses on the teenager's Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet, the report said.

The detective also found on the tablet instructions Colson had sent to the teen about when and where they could meet, the report said. After getting together at that pre-arranged location on Jan. 22, Colson drove the teenager to Hudson where they had sex, the report said.

Colson was booked into the Land O' Lakes Jail and subsequently released on $15,000 bail.
