Texas Teacher Accused of Sexual Contact with Student

(Midland, Texas) A 37-year-old teacher formerly at Goddard Junior High School, Jennifer Marie O’Neill, has been accused of inappropriate touching of a 13-year-old male student.

O'Neill faces a charge of improper relationship between an educator and a student.

MPD began investigating O’Neill in late January after school officials reported a rumored relationship between a teacher and a student, said PIO Sara Higgins.

O’Neill, who quit her job before her arrest, told MPD investigators in an interview that she had sexual contact in December with a 13-year-old male student, officials said.

O'Neill was booked into custody at the Midland County Detention Center and released on $25,000 bond.
