Carolina Teacher Accused of Indecent Liberties

(Taylorsville, North Carolina) A 29-year-old math teacher at Alexander Central High School, Nikki Setzer Icard, has been accused of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with an 18-year-old male student.

Icard faces one felony count of indecent liberties with a student. She is also accused of sending the student nude pictures of herself.

The senior apparently shared those images, and the Alexander Sheriff’s Department received an anonymous phone call regarding the situation.

The sheriff then contacted the police department, as the alleged felony occurred within Taylorsville city limits, said Jones.

Icard was booked into custody and subsequently posted a $10,000 bond.
