Florida Teacher Busted for Marijuana

(Wauchula, Florida) A 26-year-old teacher at Hardee Junior High School, Katherine Page Landress, has been accused of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia on school property.

Landress was arrested and charged with possessing more than 20 grams of marijuana and narcotics equipment.

According to investigators, information was received that Landress possessed drugs in her vehicle, which was in the school parking lot.

A Hardee County Sheriff's Office narcotics dog alerted to the vehicle, and marijuana was discovered, deputies said.

Landress was booked into custody at the Hardee County Jail and released on $1,000 bond.
