Mexican Smoke

Maybe the EPA should issue a statement.
Smoke drifts north toward the Texas Gulf Coast from Mexico in these images provided by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, which obtained them from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Agricultural fires in Mexico and Central America contribute to the smoke plume.
The mention of Mexican smoke reminds me of Cheech and Chong.
