NY Educator Accused of Nasty with Disabled Student

(Nassau County, New York) A 34-year-old teacher's aide at Henry Viscard School, Ivone Oliviera, has been accused of engaging in an inappropriate sexual relationship with an 18-year-old disabled student.

Oliviera faces a charge of endangering the welfare of a disabled person.

The student is described as having various physical disabilities.

Prosecutors say the relationship began in January, when Oliviera allegedly started hugging and kissing the student. Detectives say they also uncovered sexual photos and text messages sent to the student by Oliviera.

Oliviera pleaded not guilty at arraignment.
