(Dothan, Alabama) A 30-year-old local woman, Samantha Victoria Bryant, has pleaded guilty before Circuit Court Judge Michael Conaway to felony sex abuse of a child under the age of 12.According to District Attorney Kristen Shields, Judge Conaway sentenced Bryant to six years in prison.
But Bryant submitted an application for probation through her attorney, Mark Johnson, which will be ruled on by Conaway on July 23.Bryant awaits Judge Conaway's decision in July.
The charge was the result of an investigation by Houston County Sheriff’s deputies.
Shields said Bryant pleaded guilty to molesting a 5 or 6-year-old boy.
