Ohio Woman Gets Prison for Sex with Boy, 13 - Update

(Delaware County, Ohio)

A Sunbury woman was sentenced today to nearly five years in prison for sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy who was left in her care.

In addition to serving her 57-month prison sentence, Pam Fisher, 38, will have to register for life as a Tier III sex offender, Ohio’s highest level.

Frankly, I believe this case warranted harsher punishment. Imagine a 38-year-old male and a 13-year-old girl.

(Delaware County, Ohio) Today, 38-year-old Pam Fisher pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy. Sentencing is scheduled for January 3, 2014.

(Delaware County, Ohio) A 38-year-old local woman, Pam Fisher, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 13-year-old boy, a friend of Fisher's daughter.

Fisher has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple counts of sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

The Delaware County prosecutor’s office says the eight sexual encounters occurred between Aug. 1 and Sept. 22.

A spokeswoman for the Delaware County sheriff’s office said the boy went to stay with Fisher, who is married, following an argument at his home.

Fisher was arrested yesterday.
