Tennessee Woman Accused of Rape

(Kingston, Tennessee) Last Friday, a 33-year-old Roane County woman, Elizabeth Ashley Jones Crisp, was arrested for allegedly raping a 12-year-old boy.

Last month, Crisp was indicted by a grand jury on rape charges.

The alleged incident happened sometime between November and December of 2012. The investigation began after authorities received a tip.

Crisp was taken into custody Friday.

"[Officers] swarmed the back and the front of [Crisp's house] and within 7 to 10 minutes, she was brought out in handcuffs and taken in," said neighbor Zach Ewton.[…]

Investigators say Crisp has a significant criminal history, but most of it was drug related.
