Terrorist Wannabe Gets Prison
(Armstrong County, Pennsylvania) For posting bomb-making and bomb-target advice under the name Abu Nancy, Emerson Begolly, 24, has been sentenced to eight and one-half years in federal prison. U.S. District Judge Maurice Cohill also imposed five years of probation.
Begolly will get credit for the two years and six months he has spent in jail, prosecutors said.Eating fish sandwiches and walking in the park for peace and righteousness!? Yeah, right. He apologized but, frankly, I don't believe it.
Begolly pleaded guilty Aug. 9, 2011, to soliciting terrorist acts against the United States on the Ansar al-Mujahideen English Forum and to carrying a firearm during a scuffle with federal agents.
He asked Cohill for leniency, saying he no longer espouses an anti-American ideology and wants to spend his life walking in parks, fishing, getting fish sandwiches in the Strip District and enjoying simple pleasures.
“All I want to do is pursue a path of peace and righteousness,” he said.
It all sounds like Taqiyya, defined as religious permission to lie when at risk of significant persecution.
I wouldn't trust the guy.
