Alabama Woman, 41, and Boy, 13

(Prattville, Alabama) A 41-year-old woman, Shannon Crowe, has pleaded guilty and been sentenced for engaging in sexual misconduct with a 13-year-old boy.

Crowe pleaded guilty to misdemeanor sexual misconduct, a significantly less severe offense than the original charges of rape and sodomy.

She had sex with a 13-year-old male, according to reports at the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office, the agency that investigated the case.

Circuit Judge John Bush on July 31 sentenced her to one year in the Autauga Metro Jail, with her serving six months pursuant to the plea agreement, courthouse records show.

Upon release from jail, Crowe will have to register as a sex offender.
