Ohio Mom Poses as Daughter in Court

(Cincinnati, Ohio) A 39-year-old local woman, Tomeka Oliver, has been jailed for impersonating her daughter at a court appearance for a traffic offense.

Standing in for her daughter Sarah Oliver, 22, Tomeka was fined $50 by Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Dwane Mallory on Friday for driving without a license.

Then someone in the courtroom audience spoke up and said the woman was not 22-year-old Sarah Oliver, but her mother, Tomeka Oliver.
Mallory ordered Tomeka Oliver back in the courtroom, confirmed that she was not Sarah Oliver, and immediately cited her for contempt and ordered her jailed until Sept. 20.
Meanwhile, an arrest warrant was issued for the apprehension of Sarah Oliver.

It's tough to imagine what Tomeka Oliver was thinking.

This is almost as bad as this one.

There is an article, but the YouTube says it all, 300 days in jail for smarting off to the Judge:

ELYRIA -- Ebony Burks earned the dubious distinction earlier this month of drawing the longest jail sentence that Elyria Municipal Court Judge Gary Bennett has ever handed down for contempt of court.

Burks' 300-day stay in the Lorain County Jail came out of an Aug. 14 hearing during which she was being arraigned on domestic violence and assault charges in separate cases.
