Texas Teacher Accused of Furnishing Alcohol to Minors.

(Laredo, Texas) A 37-year-old teacher at Clark Middle School, Rosalinda Gonzalez, has been accused of furnishing alcohol to minors.

Gonzalez faces eight counts of purchasing/furnishing alcohol to minors.

According to a criminal complaint, Gonzalez allegedly made assorted alcoholic drinks available to one female juvenile and seven male juveniles all aged 15, according to court records.

The Webb County District Attorney’s office has received the case for prosecution, but an indictment has not been returned yet, a spokeswoman for the office said in an email Wednesday.

If convicted, Gonzalez faces a possible one year in jail.
