Indiana Woman Accused of Killing Toddler Son

(Columbus, Ohio) A 29-year-old Indiana woman, Krista Brown, has been arrested for causing the death of her 17-month-old son. She was arrested in Ohio on charges filed in Indiana. Brown awaits extradition.

Brown faces a count of battery causing the death of a victim less than 14-years-old.

A woman from the Wabash Valley has been accused of battering her 17-month-old son, resulting in his death back in 2009.

Vincennes Police say in May of 2009, they responded to a residence on Autumn Ridge Lane for an unresponsive child. The child, Daniel Scott Brown II, could not be revived and his death was ruled a homicide.

Brown faces a $50,000 bond amount upon return to Indiana.
