California Educator Arrested for Molesting Boy, 14

(Hayward, California) A 29-year-old program assistant at All Saints Catholic School, Mia Cummings, has been arrested for molesting a 14-year-old boy for a period of two years.

According to Hayward Police Sgt. Ken Forkus, Cummings faces counts of continuous sexual abuse, contacting a minor with the intent to commit a sex crime and numerous counts of forcible oral copulation on a child.

The boy was a student at the school, Forkus said.

At least five incidents happened in the school's kitchen, while five others happened off-campus, including at Cummings' apartment, authorities said.

Cummings was booked into custody at the Santa Rita Jail with bail set at $800,000.
