Oklahoma Woman Accused of Sex with Boy

(Tahlequah, Oklahoma) A 27-year-old local woman, Amanda Don Ballard, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 13-year-old boy on 20 occasions.

Booking records show Amanda Don Ballard is being held on 20 counts of second-degree rape, though investigators said Tuesday they aren’t sure how many counts she could ultimately face.[…]

Undersheriff Jason Chennault said Deputy Dexter Scott was asked to investigate an out-of-control, 13-year-old boy Sunday morning.

“When he started talking to the boy, the boy started telling him about having sex [with the 27-year-old woman],” said Chennault. “[Ballard] admitted to it. By her account, it happened in Tahlequah, sometimes in the county, sometimes in vehicles; by her estimate, about 20 times.”

Ballard was booked into custody with bond set at $75,000.
