Bourbon Street Shootings

Tourists were among the nine people wounded in a Bourbon Street shooting early Sunday, New Orleans Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas said.

"Some of the victims are not from New Orleans," NOPD's chief said at an afternoon news conference staged in the middle of the 700 block of Bourbon Street near Orleans Street, where gunfire rang out at about 2:45 a.m.

No arrests had been made as of Sunday (June 29) afternoon.

Police have called for businesses and individuals with relevant video footage of the shootings to step forward.
