Kentucky Woman Accused of Using Counterfeit Money
(Harlan County, Kentucky) A local female, Casey Neal, has been accused of passing counterfeit money.
Neal, 18, was arrested by Kentucky State Police Trooper James Earl Hensley on Thursday on a complaint obtained by Harlan County Sheriff’s Deputy Charles Bailey.Neal was booked into custody at the Harlan County Detention Center with bond set at $20,000.
According to the complaint, Bailey claims on June 2 Neal knowingly possessed counterfeit money and used it to purchase medication and other items at CVS Pharmacy.
The complaint states Neal made two different purchases with counterfeit money.
Neal was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
