West Virginia Teach Faces Drug Charges

(Maysel, West Virginia) A school teacher formerly at a Clay County elementary school, Melissa Koch, has been arrested on drug possession charges.

Koch, along with a friend named Jeremy Gray, face counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
Troopers said when they arrived at Koch's home on Blue Knob Road in Maysel, West Virginia, Koch was caught in the act of doing drugs. Troopers said Koch was selling meth out of her home, adding that she gave them a full confession.

Workers with Child Protective Services were called to assist with the arrest, because Koch has a small child in her care.
Details on booking not reported.
