A grand jury indicted Tanya Ramirez, a 30-year-old former teacher and coach at King High School, last week on a second charge of inappropriate relationship between an educator and student, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times reported.

(Corpus Christi, Texas) A 29-year-old teacher formerly at King High School, Tanya Ramirez, has been accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a male student.

Ramirez faces a charge of suspicion of improper relationship between educator/student.

The allegations relate to conduct that was sexual in nature, district spokeswoman Lorette Williams said in June, but declined to elaborate.

Ramirez was booked into custody at the Nueces County Jail and later released on $10,000 bail.
