Alabama Teacher Accused of Student Sex

(Birmingham, Alabama) A 33-year-old language arts teacher at Appalachian High School, Ashley Pruitt, has been accused of having sexual contact with two students and sending pornographic photos to a third student.

Affidavits from Blount County Law Enforcement accuse 33-year-old Ashley Pruitt of having sexual intercourse with one student under 19 in her car in a public park and oral sex with another student under 19 in the student’s car.

Court documents also accuse her of sending sexually explicit messages and photos of her genitalia and breasts to a third student under the age of 18 and expressing her desire to take that victim’s virginity.

According to the affidavits, all the incidents in question are reported to have happened between August, September, and October of this year.

An appearance in Blount County District Court is expected in the next few weeks.
