New York Woman Accused of Smuggling Liquor into Prison

(Ossining, New York) A 38-year-old woman, Evelyn Reyes, has been accused of smuggling liquor into Sing Sing Correctional Facility.

Reyes faces a charge of second-degree promoting prison contraband.

Reyes, 38, of the Bronx, allegedly tried to smuggle liquor into the facility during a Friday, Nov. 7 visit to the Ossining prison, police said.

A court appearance is scheduled for November 18.
