California Teacher Faces Sex Crimes

(West Los Angeles, California) A 39-year-old teacher formerly at Notre Dame Academy for girls, Elizabeth Ann Brewer, has been accused of sexually molesting a 16-year-old female student.

Brewer faces counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, counts of oral copulation and forcible oral copulation.

Brewer was a teacher at Notre Dame Academy, a Catholic college-prep school for girls in West Los Angeles, during the time in question.

Brewer faces up to 21 years in prison if convicted as charged.
