Texas Teacher Admits to Sex with Student
(Lewisville, Texas) A 35-year-old teacher's aide with the Lewisville School District, Krista Young, has admitted to engaging in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old male student.
Young has been charged with improper relationship between educator and student, a second-degree felony
Police say they were notified Tuesday by Lewisville Independent School District officials that one of their employees — 35-year-old Krista Young of Little Elm — “may have had inappropriate contact with a student.”Young was booked into custody with bond set at $10,000. No sentencing date was reported.
That same day, police say, a detective in the Crimes Against Children division interviewed Young, who works at the Purcell Support Center. During that interview, she admitted that she “had engaged in sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old male student on several occasions in the last couple of months,” according to a release from the department.
