Wisconsin Coach Accused of Sex with Teen

(Menomonie, Wisconsin) A 20-year-old swim coach formerly at Menomonie High School, Marissa N. Thompson, has been accused of having sex with a member of the swim team.

Thompson faces a felony citation of sexual assault of a child by a school staff member.

An associate principal at the high school advised a Menomonie police officer that Thompson admitted to having sex with a 17-year-old male student on several occasions at an apartment in the 1700 block of South Broadway Street.

She knew he was 17 years old because she was his assistant swim coach at the high school and paid by the school district.

Thompson was booked into custody with bond set at $500.
