Utah Teacher's Aide Gets Jail for Burglary

(Salt Lake City, Utah) A 27-year-old teacher's aide at McPolin Elementary School, Kayla D. Goodrich, has pleaded guilty to four second-degree felonies related to thefts victimizing fellow teachers in the Park City School District.

As a result, Goodrich has been sentenced to 90 days in jail.
Goodrich was sentenced to immediately serve 90 days in jail, 36 months on probation and pay a $10,000 fine.{…}

According to court documents, on Oct. 20 a Park City School District teacher reported she had caught a woman trying to break into her home. The woman recognized Goodrich as a teacher's aide at McPolin Elementary School.

Once deputies located Goodrich and questioned her about the incident, she admitted to burglarizing the homes of several teachers in the Park City School District and attempting to burglarize several others.
