Florida School Employee Accused of Sex with Boys

(New Port Richey, Florida) A 45-year-old employee at Dayspring Academy, Diane Blankenship, has been accused of engaging in sex with teenage boys.

Blankenship was arrested for engaging in sex with a 17- and a 14-year-old boy. She faces counts of lewd and lascivious battery and unlawful sexual activity.

She allegedly had sex with the 14-year-old in December 2014 while in the back seat of her vehicle as a friend of the victim drove them around, according to the sheriff's office.

The second occurrence -- with the 17-year-old -- allegedly happened in the victim's bedroom were she went before school.

Blankenship was booked into the Land 'O Lakes Detention Center with bond set at $100,000.
