Texas Woman Accused of Sex with Boy

(San Antonio, Texas) Local police have issued a warrant for the arrest of social service worker Karina Gallegos on a charge of sexual assault of a child.

Gallegos, 26, worked in a facility where she had access to children, said Sgt. Javier Salazar, the department spokesman.

The San Benito woman used her position to gain access to a 14-year-old boy, police said.

“It’s quite possible that she’s going to get a job in that same line of work,” Salazar said.

The alleged crime happened back in 2013 at a facility where she worked with children, including those who were previous victims of crimes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gallegos is encouraged to report it to the San Antonio Police Department.
