Texas Woman Gets Prison in Sex Case

(Lubbock, Texas) A 29-year-old woman, Lacy McCauley, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy.

Prosecutor Jaret Greaser said the plea deal stems from the “age of the victim and the circumstances surrounding her case.”

McCauley was one of three people convicted in connection with a complex case of sexual abuse.

She admitted she sexually assaulted her co-defendant’s son, who was also convicted of sexually abusing two family members.

Upon release, McCauley will have to register as a sex offender.
