Alaska Woman Charged with Theft from Church

A former member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church made her initial appearance in court on Monday after being charged with forging a signature to steal money from the church.If convicted, Maleck faces a substantial prison term and a $20,000 fine.
Tricia L. Maleck, 42, Fox Lake, is charged with a felony count of forgery and theft of property between $2,500 and $5,000.
