WV Woman Accused of Multiple Sex Offenses
(Fayette County, West Virginia)
An Oak Hill woman faces at least 15 felony charges being accused of infecting a minor with multiple sexually transmitted diseases and forging his father’s signature to keep him out of school in fall of 2013.Reportedly, the victim contracted syphilis, gonorrhea and genital herpes. Ward faces counts of sexual abuse, soliciting a minor via computer, gross child neglect creating risk of injury, forgery, and distribution of a controlled substance.
Lateesha Laneil Ward, 26, lived with the 15-year-old victim for about a year after he left his parents’ house, according to a criminal complaint filed with Fayette Magistrate Court.
