Texas Teacher's Aide and Boy, 16

(Irving, Texas) An Irving ISD teacher's aide, Rachell Silva, has been accused of having an improper relationship with an underage student.

On Wednesday at about 11:30 p.m., a police officer patrolling Senter Park in Irving allegedly discovered Rachell Silva having sexual relations with a 16-year-old in a van when he shined his flashlight in the vehicle's side window.

Silva told police she knew the boy was only 16 years old, according to the probable cause affidavit.

Silva was booked into custody with bond set at $50,000.
