Georgia Woman Charged with Rape

(Dalton, Georgia) A local woman, Shannon Dale Pittman, 41, has been arrested for strongarm rape, sodomy, and incest where the victim is 13 to 16 years of age.

The juvenile stated the couple were both drunk early in the evening and gave the juvenile vodka to drink as well. After the juvenile was drunk, the juvenile stated both engaged in sexual acts with the juvenile.

Pittman was booked into the Whitfield County Jail without bond.
