(Amherst, NY) According to this story, police in the Buffalo suburb of Amherst have arrested a restaurant cook for apparently preparing a meal for another employee which was contaminated with Clorox.
Officers Richard Caito and Brian Walsh charged the cook, Mohammed N. Aslam, 31, of Willow Lane, Amherst, with tampering with a consumer product and attempted assault, both felonies, police said. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of a noxious material. Now, I can understand the tampering and attempted assault charges, but it's not really clear why possession of bleach in a kitchen is unlawful. It would seem that having bleach in the kitchen would be a good thing.
