Rewards Leads to Sasser Worm Creator

Informants provided investigators with the leads necessary to apprehend an 18-year-old unnamed German resident of Rotenberg for the creation of the Sasser worm. The worm is estimated to have infected millions of computers running Microsoft Windows. The arrest is considered to have resulted because of the large reward program offered by Microsoft.
