Pants 'Appeared To Have Exploded'

(Clarksville, Indiana) Jason Grisham, 22, of New Albany is alive, surprisingly, after climbing a 69,000 volt electrical transmission tower and being soundly zapped. He was found at the base of the tower by police who said that his pants "appeared to have exploded."

I'd really like to know why this bonehead was climbing the tower.

[Update] According to a different report, when Clarksville Police Officer Carl Durbin asked Grisham why he did it, he "pointed to his head." Police are awaiting the results of a toxicology test, suggesting that the possibility exists Grisham was impaired. Charges may be filed.
