Animal Hoarding

(Bryan, Texas) On May 25th, 29 animals, 17 dogs and 12 birds, were removed from the home of Diane McInnes by direction of Judge George Boyett.

Last February, Municipal Court Judge Latham Boone III ordered the removal of 50 animals from Diane McInnes' home.

It should be clear by these two reports that Diane McInnes is a pathological collector of animals, an animal hoarder, which has been shown to be a significant public health hazard. What I find most interesting is that none of the reports of Diane McInnes' behavior have referred to her as an animal hoarder. She's not a wacky neighbor. She's an individual who appears to have a significant pathology. The local justice system and the media needs to recognize the situation for what it is.
