From Gitmo Back To Taliban and Killed
After a period of tropical rest and recuperation at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, captured Taliban commander Maulvi Abdul Ghaffar was released to assume command of more Taliban. He wasn't so lucky this time. Instead of being taken prisoner, he was killed in a gunbattle with Afghanistan security forces.
So, what's wrong with this scenario. We catch him, we release him, he starts shooting at us again, this time we kill him. Why didn't we just blow the bastard away the first time we had him?
Maybe this is an illustration of what it means to fight a "sensitive" war.
