New Mayor Has Homicide on Resume

(East Cleveland, Ohio) After the conviction of Emmanuel Onunwor on corruption charges and his removal from office as mayor, the citizens of East Cleveland installed Saratha Goggins as head of the city government. The stench of criminality in the mayor's office, though, was not wafted away with Goggins arrival. According to this story, the office continues to emit a malodorous ambiance since Goggins came with a resume containing references to a homicide. On at least one occasion, she resolved a dispute with a rival by stabbing him in the heart. Details of the incident are much more vague than sketchy. Nonetheless, present day political and personal rivals seem to be maintaining an appropriate nonconfrontational posture towards the new mayor.
