The 15-year-old, on the other hand, was assigned to a Georgia group home after being ruled in violation of his probation on a burglary charge. (See previous posts here and here.)
In the latest developments, the boy-husband ran away from the group home last week and authorities were able to track him to Ashtabula, Ohio, where he was arrested by U.S. Marshals yesterday. Authorities found the boy by tracking a package, containing money and a cell phone, sent to him by Lisa Lynnette Clark. The boy is currently at the Ashtabula County Youth Detention Center awaiting extradition to Georgia.
As a result of helping the boy-husband, Clark was also arrested yesterday. She is charged with hindering law enforcers in apprehending the 15-year-old. Clark also acted in violation of the terms for her release on bail which stipulated no contact with the boy.
In conclusion, Clark and the boy, identified as 'A.S.G.' in court documents, are both cooling their heels behind bars right now and Clark's trial starts Monday. By the way, Clark is due to deliver on February 20th, so given a lengthy trial, she could give birth in a courtroom.
Stay tuned.
