Barry Bonds' Home Run Ball

Andrew Morbitzer, the guy who caught Barry Bonds' 715th home run ball (which broke Babe Ruth's record), was just interviewed on the FoxNews Channel.

Interestingly, Morbitzer pointed out that the ball has already been authenticated by Major League Baseball officials. It seems that there is some type of secret coding protocol on each ball and the officials verified that Morbitzer's ball was the one Bonds hit. Okay, fine.

However, does anyone else think it's ironic that the U.S. can keep track of individual baseballs but has no clue on tens of millions of illegal aliens? And, the same question could be asked regarding the millions of cows being tracked in order to intercept those infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy (mad cow).

Illegal baseballs and infected cows can be found in the U.S. with ease while illegal aliens, in everyday plain view, can hide with impunity.

What a country!
