Counterfeit Document Ringleader Arrested

(Monterrey, Mexico) Last weekend, Mexican authorities arrested counterfeit document ringleader, Pedro Castorena-Ibarra, in Guadalajara. Castorena-Ibarra distributed bogus Social Security cards, driver's licenses, and resident alien cards throughout several states, including California, Illinois, and Georgia.

Department of Homeland Security officials believe "the arrest deals a serious blow to one of the largest fraudulent document organizations in the U.S." Immigration and Customs Enforcement classified Castorena-Ibarra as a most-wanted fugitive who was sought on a July 2005 money laundering indictment.
