Teacher Accused of Using Cocaine With Students
(Horry County, South Carolina) A social studies and science teacher at Faith Christian Academy, Kim Pike, was arrested for allegedly inviting students to her home to use cocaine. Two female students, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old, accepted the offer.
Subsequently, the 16-year-old told the principal, Sylvia Kenney, that Pike did drugs. Pike was then fired and the police were notified.
Pike was booked into the Rueben Long Detention Center in Conway. If convicted on the drug charges, Pike faces a possible 15 years in prison.
