(Pekin, Illinois) A 46-year-old East Peoria woman, Deborah A. Hoshor, was arrested and booked on charges of contributing to the delinquency of minors and sexual abuse of a 15-year-old boy.
From PJStar.com:
Deborah A. Hoshor, of 116 Herman St., rented a room at the Econo Lodge, 3242 Van Dever Drive, and reportedly invited people over to swim. Police were called to the hotel about 6:10 a.m. Saturday on a report of a loud disturbance, and nine people were arrested, including seven for underage drinking, Lt. Greg Nelson said Monday.Apparently, poor parenting skills resulted in these kids being allowed to attend an all night booze party at a motel. I'd recommend that the long arm of the law be wrapped around the parents for negligence, contributing to the delinquency, or something.
Inside, police noticed several empty cases of beer and bottles still full with beer. They also found a 12-year-old Peoria boy unconscious on the floor with vomit around him - he was treated and released from Pekin Hospital and charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, Nelson said.
The underage drinkers were ticketed, given notices to appear, and released to their parents, presumably the same parents who allowed them to be there in the first place. Hoshor is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 22.
