Female Teacher Allegedly Molested Student

(El Monte, California) A 35-year-old married English teacher at Arroyo High School, Monica Rae Gonzalez, was arrested on suspicion of molesting a 17-year-old male student.

According to San Gabriel Police Sgt. Ken Butler, Gonzalez is the boy's teacher and an officer caught the two 'acting suspiciously' in a parked car. After a five-week investigation, police determined that charges should be filed.

Gonzalez potentially faces two counts of annoying or molesting a child under 18 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She's scheduled to be arraigned on September 19.
