(Lewiston, Maine) Last June, a 20-year-old Lewiston woman, Katherine Holt, was arrested and charged with providing 14-year-old teens with alcohol and sexually assaulting them. Specifically, Holt was charged with three counts of sexual abuse of a minor, three counts of furnishing liquor to minors and a charge of gross sexual assault. In one case, Holt plied a 14-year-old girl with alcohol until she couldn't resist and then had sex with her.
Yesterday, jury selection began in Androscoggin County Superior Court for Holt's trial. Thus far, a trial date has not been scheduled.
