Krystal Gehret Pleads Guilty to Sex Crimes

(Telford, Pennsylvania) A Telford woman, Krystal Joy Gehret, who is a self-described Christian singer, surrendered to Bucks County police in April 2006 to face charges resulting from an alleged sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy.

Subsequently, the 20-year-old mother of one was arraigned in adjacent Montgomery County on similar charges resulting from having sex with another 14-year-old boy. Gehret was also charged with intimidation of a witness for leaving a message on the boy's cell phone voice mail saying, "Oh no, I don't have people after you, but I know people that will be after you."

In total, Gehret faced charges in two counties related to having sex with two 14-year-old boys along with an intimidation charge.

Yesterday in Bucks County Court, Gehret pleaded guilty to aggravated indecent assault, statutory sexual assault and other offenses related to engaging in sex with the first 14-year-old. A sentencing date has not been reported.

Gehret still faces adjudication of sex crime and intimidation charges against her in Montgomery County. In the meantime, she is free on $50,000 bail.

Obviously, the story continues to develop . . . .
