FAA Bans Fixed-Wing VFR Over East River

The Federal Aviation Administration laid down some new rules for fixed-wing planes flying in Manhattan.

Those fixed-wing planes have been banned from the East River corridor in New York unless the pilot is in direct contact with air traffic control.
